PACE STUDY GROUPS

SVPA is currently conducting a study group for the Paralegal Advance Competency Exam ("PACE")  and we are looking for people interested in participating. 


Requirements for a paralegal to take the PACE include work experience and education.  You cannot have been convicted of a felony nor be under suspension, termination, or revocation of a certificate, registration, or license by any entity. 

Requirements:

 An associate degree in paralegal studies obtained form an accredited institution and/or an ABA approved paralegal education program; and six (6) years substantive paralegal experience; OR

 A bachelor's degree in any course of study obtained from an accredited institution and three (3) years of substantive paralegal experience; OR

 

 A bachelor's degree and completion of a paralegal program at an accredited institution may be embodied in a bachelor's degree; and two (2) years substantive paralegal experience; OR

 

 Four (4) years substantive paralegal experience on or before December 31, 2000.


 

Study group sessions will be held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM, beginning November 29, 2005, MacMorris & Carbone, 4354 Auburn Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95841.
