Once a month SVPA holds a luncheon featuring a speaker with one hour of Continuing Legal Education credit.  CLE is geared towards paralegals, who are required by Business and Professions Code to complete a certain number of CLE hours.

SVPA is hosting the 2012 CAPA conference!  This will be an entire day of CLE right here in Sacramento on June 23, 2012.  To register and for more information on speakers, view the CAPA 2012 Brochure.

If you are interested in speaking at a luncheon, please contact VP of Education Christina Robinson.  Please note speakers must provide either a written handout or power point presentation, and must speak to a topic that is of educational value to paralegals.  Motivational speakers and sales pitches, while valuable, are not topics we can entertain at CLE luncheons.  We are able to allow sponsors to make brief sales presentations at luncheons, contact Christina Robinson if your company is interested in becoming a luncheon sponsor.
